Akio Atlas, アトラス昭夫 (AKIO (昭夫): Japanese name meaning "glorious man.")

Family: Jack and Carly's son. He also has a younger sister, Katsumi, who he usually calls 'blondie' instead. Akio has a great relationship with his family. He cares about his mother and little sister and also admires and respects his father a lot. Jack never hides how proud he is for his son and when he is at home, they spend a lot of time together, dueling and riding side by side.

Appearance: Akio is a younger version of his father but with his mother's grey eyes and black hair. He wears a black jacket above a blue shirt, gray pants and shoes. He wears glasses and both of his ears are pierced. He always wears a necklace similar to Seto and Mokuba Kaiba's. Like a locket, it contains a picture with him and his sister inside.

His school uniform consists of a white shirt, a dark blue jacket with white lining (and the 'DA' logo of the Neo Duel Academia), a yellow tie, black pants and brown shoes. Akio wears his locket around his neck even at school.

Personality: Akio is like a strange combination of his parents. Just like his father and unlike his sister, Akio is strong, quiet, and a really good duelist. He is very close and protective over his personal life, trying to keep it as privet as possible. He finds it really hard to express his feelings, so he avoids every emotional situation. Most of the time, he is serious, however, he does have his moments where he relaxes and likes to tease his friends in a nice mood. He might look distant but he is caring and humble, ready to help if anyone asks for it and he rarely changes his mind over something. He usually stands with his hands in his pockets.

Akio is studying at Neo Duel Academia as the top student. His best friend is his classmate, Kai. His dream is to become a professional duelist and, after graduation, he is planning to continue his studies abroad. Just like his father, Akio has his own fan club, but he focuses on his life's purpose and not girls. Sometimes the funny-and-full-of-life young Ichigo catches his attention, but he doesn't show interest in her or anybody else.
