YGO 5D's OC: Hanako Saito

Family: Hanako lives with her mother, Sayuri, and she has an older half-brother, Ryuu, from the same mother and she believes that he is the best brother ever. Her father, Nobu, died when she was a baby, so she has no memories of him. Her brother is her father-figure, even though he is not the best example. Hanako loves and cares for him, and knows she can count on him as he will always be there to protect her. Even if she is worrying for her brother sometimes, she has faith in him, knowing that he can take care of himself. Her mother is working hard and she is rarely at home, but Hanako loves and cares for her a lot, trying to help her with housework and such whenever she can.

Appearance: Hanako looks a lot like her mother; she has bright chocolate eyes and long brown hair with bangs, often tying it in a side ponytail, near her neck, with a baby blue ribbon. She wears a brown tank top, black skirt, gray socks up to her knees and her brown school shoes. Her ears are not pierced and the only jewelry she usually wears is a silver bracelet with a hanging little dragon on her right hand, and never takes it off.

Her school uniform consists of a white shirt, a dark red jacket with white lining (and the 'DA' logo of the Neo Duel Academia), a yellow neck ribbon, grey skirt and brown shoes with grey socks below her knees.

Personality: Hanako is a friendly and sweet girl. Her life was never easy, but she was always happy for what she had, and never complained for whatever misfortune she and her family passed through. She prefers to see the bright sight of the world and smile. She is extremely loyal and obedient to those she cares for and trusts. Hanako is not risky or reckless and she will never go asking for trouble. She looks cute, but deep down she is tough and stronger than she looks, knowing how to take care herself. She is fearless when she is with her brother, supporting and trusting him fully, but she won't be scared even she finds herself in dangerous areas at Satellite without him.

Hanako is studying at Neo Duel Academia. By dueling with her brother sometimes, Hanako became a strong duelist. She enjoys dueling but she enjoys cheering and supporting her brother or friends when they are dueling more, because, unlike Ryuu, Hanako believes in friendship a lot.
